filmmaker

With a knack for humanizing global development and climate issues, I have traveled around the world producing short films and documentaries that chronicle challenges…with tangible solutions.

From the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, to rural villages in India, to the mangroves of Colombia, I developed and executive produced the following films (alongside very talented production partners).

  • Artisanal Fishing with Nets x Mobile Tech

Traditional fishermen in Colombia use nets and historical knowledge to find their daily catch. See how the introduction of mobile tech is enhancing their livelihood. (Rook Productions Media)

  • Maternal Health x Mobile Tech

In India, pregnant women who live in rural villages often lack easy access to healthcare, but a mobile app can help them track their health and progress until they can see a doctor. (Rook Productions Media)

  • Women's Economic Empowerment x Mobile Tech

In these individual films, follow women in the Philippines who run small businesses called Sari Sari stores and in Malaysia, entrepreneurs who leverage digital tools to grow their businesses. (Rook Productions Media)

    Microfinance x Mobile Tech

For women in rural India, microfinance is often a path to success. Digitizing the loan application process removes barriers and allow women to access capital faster and easier, enabling them to lift themselves out of poverty. (Rook Productions Media)
